How to save money on Broadway tickets

Same day ticket: Standing in line at the red steps in Times Square (which mark the TKTS booth) is generally considered worth it if you want to potentially get significantly discounted same-day Broadway tickets, especially if you are flexible about which show you see and don’t mind waiting in line; most tickets sold there are at 50% off the original price, making it a great option for budget-conscious theatergoers.

Key points about the TKTS booth:
Location:
The red steps are in Duffy Square, at the intersection of Broadway and 47th Street in Times Square.

Discount tickets:
The TKTS booth sells same-day Broadway tickets at significantly reduced prices, often around 50% off.

Flexibility required:
You can’t choose a specific show at TKTS, so you need to be open to seeing whatever is available on the day.

Potential for long lines:
Depending on the day and time, lines at the TKTS booth can be long.

If you’re out and about in Time Square and you know what show you wanna watch I recommend going to the theatre of the show you want to watch. Every show has its own theatre so you can google the name of the show on Google Maps and it will tell you where to go. Once you’ve reached the theatre box office go to broadway.com to see what seats they have available. You can request for a specific seats and you will be saving about $50+ dollar a ticket just on tax and handling fee fees.

My go to app to save $ on tickets is Today tix– super affordable especially long time I had you can buy all the tickets you want.
